ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Ellie and one of my passions is American Sign Language (ASL). I love it! I’ve been studying ASL for 7 years. In college, my major is Deaf Studies with an emphasis in interpreting. I served an 18-month service mission in Arkansas, where I taught and interpreted for deaf individuals, and instructed a few ASL classes. For the last two years, I've been teaching ASL to an assortment of individuals--kids and adults. My goal is to spread my love for deaf people, deaf culture, and their beautiful language.
When I'm not signing, you can find me outdoors--either hiking a mountain or doing something fun. I love early mornings, deep talks, and quality books. One thing that gets me really excited is connection; with self, with others, and with nature.
